Bill is a very cool person as he tends to be very serious. Although there is this very calm exterior he has a great sense of humour, which is what one needed growing up with Fred and George. At first sight he may to be like Percy just by the serious air he has around him, but deep down inside beats a heart of a prankster. Ms. Weasley didn’t approve of Bill’s helping the twins with their pranks, or teaching them new ones. Mostly Bill is closest to the second eldest Weasley, Charlie.

Bill is brave, being that he used to be a curse breaker in Egypt for Gringotts and that’s an extremely dangerous career. Bill is very knowledgeable about both magic and Wizard-Goblin relations. He is a skilled spellcaster being both a Prefect and Head Boy during his school years at Hogwarts.

He likes music and can play a guitar and sing. As such he likes to dress like a rock star with his jeans, t-shirts and his favourite dragon skin boots. Bill also wears a dragon’s tooth earring in his right ear and, against all his mother’s protests, he keeps his red hair long and tied back in a pony tail.

Strengths: Bill can stay calm and collected in stressful situations and at the same time his sense of humour can lighten the mood. Since he is such a strong spellcaster, he makes an excellent dueller and a force to be reckoned with. He also has good connections with Goblins which isn’t something many wizards can claim.

Weaknesses: Bill’s calm demeanour makes him seem almost heartless and detatched from those around him. He is also very stubborn, especially when people tell him what to do and especially when they tell him how to dress.

Since Bill has such a large family, he is constantly worrying about them and of course about Fleur.

Bill was born November 29th, 1970, the first of the Weasley children. Bill attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry being sorted into the house of Griffindor. In his fifth year he became a Prefect and Head Boy and obtained 12 O.W.Ls.

After he graduated, he began to work for Gringotts Bank as a Curse Breaker in Egypt. During the 1994 summer vacation, where the Weasley family went to Egypt, Bill played the tour guide, showing everyone around Egypt’s tombs. It wasn’t until the Quidditch World Cup in 1994 that Bill got to meet Harry Potter.

Since Voldemort’s return, Bill has joined the Order of the Phoenix and transferred to a desk job at Grongotts in order to be closer to the Order, and to get closer to Fleur Delacour. After dating for a year, Bill asked Fleur to marry him, and in the summer of 1996 he brought her to the Burrow to meet the whole family. Ms. Weasley and Ginny didn’t really like her at first.

In 1997, Bill was asked to patrol the Hogwarts grounds the night that Dumbledore died. During the battle that ensued that night, Bill was viciously attacked by Fenrir Greyback. Everyone was scared that the werewolf’s attack would cause Bill to change, but somehow Bill resisted and now only has the odd craving for rare meats. Also it was this night that Molly Weasley changed her opinion of Fleur, and agreed that Fleur was the best girl for Bill.

Bill attended Dumbledore’s funeral and even aided Harry during Harry’s final flight from the Dursley’s.

Bill and Fleur were married on August 1st, 1997 but it was ruined by a hoard of Death Eaters. After that, Bill and Fleur moved from their flat to Shell Cottage in December, while he continued to work for Gringotts.

Bill became Secret Keeper for the Order of the Phoenix, protecting all of the secrets of the Order.

Bill was there for Ron after he ran away from Harry and Hermione, and then housed the three of them along with Olivander and a gnome from Gringotts when the ministry was taken over by Death Eaters.

Bill also participated in the Last Battle at Hogwarts, fighting to defeat the Death Eaters and witnessed the final battle between Harry and Voldemort.

Since the Last Battle of Hogwarts

After the Great War, Bill decided to stay in England for a little while to help with the clean up of the magical world. It was during this time that he met a lot of the orphaned children and saw the sadness they had with no real home to go to. It was then that Bill decided that he would open an orphanage and pay homage to his childhood home by naming it, The Little Burrow.

Bill didn’t have the money to finance The Little Burrow right away, and so as soon as things in England began to settle down, Bill resumed his old job as a curse breaker for Gringotts Bank and moved back to Egypt. Working there for about a year, he had discovered and unsealed as many tombs as he could find and in March of 2000 Bill discovered a huge tomb.

The reward for such a large discovery of treasure was finally enough money that Bill could return home and start helping the children he knew had no homes. He moved back to Shell Cottage May 1st, 2000.
